Course completion - multiple seminars - %

Hello All

Is there a way (or a workaround) to enable, at course level, Course Completion to be dependent on a % of attended seminars. i.e. the course has 8 distinct seminars and we would only consider the course completed if they attend a minimum of 6 (recognising that work pressures, leave, absence, etc can impact on the ability to do all 8)

Obviously, I could split them up into individual courses and then use Program and set the 'At least this many courses should be completed' to 6.

Before I do this, can anyone think of an in-course way of doing this?

Many Thanks

Hi David

It is possible to do grade calculations for the seminar activities that add a value to the course grade. The course completion can then be based on the attainment of a course grade.

Seminar attendance fully attended is 100% of the grade so if each fully attended seminar was allocated a grade of 10 then to pass the course a course grade of 60 would be required for 6 of the 8 seminars.

Seminars can also have a grade manually allocated to make calculations simpler

Let us know how this goes
