Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding the centralised seminar notifications that are sent out on automated trigger events.
We recently had an event that was fully booked, with 2 people on the waiting list. Since we set up the event so that the waiting list is cancelled upon the event start time, the two people on the waiting list received the notification that their waiting-list sign-up is now being cancelled (which is the desired system behaviour). However, at the same time, these individuals received a booking cancellation notification, stating that they had (actively themselves) cancelled the event.
Technically, we understand that when the waitlist expires, the users get the cancelled status, and this is the reason why the booking cancellation notification is sent out. However, we are wondering whether there is an option to deactivate this notification in this particular case? The notification about the expired waiting-list sign-up already states that their sign-up for this event is cancelled, so the additional notification seems unnecessary and potentially confusing.
Any insights or suggestions on how to handle this would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
Monica.
