I would be interested to know other Perform users thoughts/workarounds on when Goals are used in performance activities.

I will describe the scenerio behaviour below:

  1. An employee completes their appraisal activity which has a section for their goals to be added.

  2. They add their goals and the appraisal is completed and closed.

  3. At a later date the employee (or even the Manager) via the Goals dashboard makes a change to the wording of one of the goals and also changes the due date.

My understanding is currently if that happens when the closed/completed appraisal is reviewed at the the next annual appraisal meeting those goals agreed in the appraisal closed appraisal do not reflect them at the current point in time, they have been changed at a later date after the appraisal has been closed.

A manager has raised this query as he is concerned that timelines agreed during the appraisal could be changed by either party at a later date and the other party would not be aware of this.

Have any other Perform users encountered this issue (we are very new to Perform) and if so how have you managed it?
