We've hit a possible bug - has anyone else encountered it?
When a seminar has "Select job assignment on signup" enabled, users with a job assignment that has no manager get a "Can not find data record in database" error when trying to enrol in a seminar event. No recovery path for the learner - they're just stuck (and have to reach out to support to ask to be enrolled).
I think the reason is that the job assignment drop-down tries to render the manager field regardless of whether manager approval is actually required. No manager in the job assignment means that dropdown can't render and results in error.
In our case it affected users with multiple job assignments where one (a secondary/honorarium position) had no manager set. Workaround for now is to assign a manager to such job assignments and disable HR sync for the ones we'd manually edited.
Has anyone seen this?
To complicate things, I'm not 100% sure if showing the manager in that drop-down is Totara default behaviour (it may have been a customisation we got a while ago)
