Cloning Report Writer role does not include My Reports tab

Hi everyone,

I was trying to clone the Report Writer role in our Totara Instance (v. 2.5.23.1) and found out that the clone does not include the My Reports tab.

No changes were made to the Report Writer Clone, it's an exact dupe of the original role's permissions, yet the My Reports function does not show up. Has anyone experienced this with their instance?

I've attached screenshots to show the difference.

Hi Patricia,

If you go to

Site administration ► Reports ► Report builder ► Manage reports ► Access can you check the box next to the role is ticked?

Ah yes ok I was able to access it and adjust the settings. Problem solved. Thanks so much George!
