We have several courses that are completed by employees outside of Totara and employees receive a certificate from the vendor or government website that shows successful completion. We have tried to use Assignments for the purpose of tracking these certifications but it is not truly effective because in many instances the employee completed the course several months previous to their hire date. Also at times the employee does not turn in his certificate until a few days after completing the course. we are required by our contract to track course completion date, next due date, score etc.

I know that uploading course completions and supporting evidence within Totara is possible and works. This is a very time intensive process though and I am wondering if any subscribers know of a better way to do this.
