Hi all,

I know you can access the course activity report within the course administration menu, but I was wondering if there was a report source that can be used to create one.  The reason being is that we have some courses for a new project roll out and want people who aren't trainers/editing trainers etc to be able to view the uptake of particular activities.

I couldn't find any looking at the source reports that looked suitable.

+1 - common request, regarding various activities. Great if this could somehow allow for staff managers to view (and perhaps set grades on)  Assignment submissions from their team or their organisation.

Just to update everyone Amir has discussed with the client that funded this work and they were happy to share the code. I've done a quick initial review and there would be a bit of work required to make it suitable for inclusion in core. We'll prioritise it as High given the interest but I can't give any guarantees at the moment about when we'll be able to look at it.

Hi There, I was just looking at this the other day as it's a really useful requirement for managers to monitor course completion progress through clearly seeing which individual activities have been completed as the 'in progress graphic' isn't detailed enough eg 3 out of 4 activities completed needs to show 75%.

The course/activity completion available as administrator is great but is there a way to make this accessible to staff managers for their team without having the additional report source you mentioned above?

I think for this specific project I'll just run the reports and put them all in Excel in a nice dashboard, but moving forward I +1 George's comment below.
