The learning plan completion date for each employee can be changed when creating the learning plan to reflect the different starting times.
There is also a possibility to create learning plan templates with customised settings. Currently only one template is able to be selected by individuals but in time this will be enabled to allow different learning plan templates to be applied to different individuals.

Hi John,
I'm afraid we're not able to schedule that in at the moment as we will be putting all our resources into porting Totara to work on Moodle 2 over the coming months.
Once that work is done though, we'll get back to new feature development and that one will be high on the list.
