Hi Shameer,

Can you confirm that you are trying to prevent users from viewing the contents of the course unless they are enrolled? Or are you trying to only show resources in one course, if the user is enrolled in a different course?

Hello Shameer,

Just to add to Craig's help (and awaiting clarification on what Simon asked), here is how I have got My Courses to show up for users when logged in.

Site administration> Front Page > Front page settings

  • Front page items when logged in - List of courses
  • Default front page role - none

Site administration > Users > Permissions > User policies

  • Default role for all users - Authenticated user

There may be another combination of achieving this. Additionally I checked that there were no overriding system roles assigned for Learners in.

Users > permissions > Assign system roles.

The course catalogue remains searchable under the Find Courses tab however. Hope this helps?
