Cannot Edit Front Page

The "Turn editing on" button is no longer working on our front page.

When clicked, the page refreshes, but editing is still off.  If I access a different course I am able to turn editing on, but if I return to the front page and attempt to edit a topic's content, I encounter the error message below after I click to save changes:

"Incorrect sesskey submitted, form not accepted!"

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Hi John

This is possibly caused by conflicting roles - try resetting the systems roles to the default or resaving the roles

or through the default front page in Administration > Front Page > Front Page settings is set to none or learner i.e. not guest.

See the discussion on  http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=119625 for discussion of the possible solutions.
