Hi there,

We would like to add a custom icon on the edit course page.

Where would the location be to place the custom icon for Totara to pick it up as an option?

You need to put the image files on your server in:

[webroot]/theme/standard/courseicons/

There are subfolders for large and small icons.

I'd suggest avoiding spaces or other special characters in the filenames.

Hi Simon,

I have added the png files to the folder as above in the small and large folders. Still when i look in the icon dropdown its not there.

Is there a cache i need to refresh somewhere?

No cache, actually try putting them in your theme folder instead:

theme/[your-current-theme]/courseicons/

FYI:

/{themeName}/pix_plugins/totara/core/course_icons/default.png

Seems to be the way to go, at least in the latest version of Totara
