Hi James,
Have you checked that all the Course Completion criterion have been set? Also there is a Complete option under the Assignments tab of the Progam which has a Complete by date -have you checked this is set to a reasonable point in the future?

Try next July, maybe what is happening is the completion date is so early learners have no time to complete the program.

We have seen this in one program we set up. When we changed the "minimum" time required to complete the program to 1 day, then the program was marked complete 24 hours later. Behavior of that setting was not as we expected.

When you say the program isnt being marked as completed - do you mean the status bar?

It turns out the problem is the actual colour of the bar - it shows all grey (as in keeping with the theme) when the Program is complete instead of green as when a course is complete, this will be getting looked at today and a patch will be issued in due course.

(in Totara 1.1 at least) it changes on completion of Sets of courses. So the more sets you have, the more incremental it is.

Hi James,
The Progress bar will increase incrementally in relation to the number of course sets completed, also it is updated by cron only on a daily basis.

There was a patch included in todays (20th Dec 2012) release of Totara 2.2.12 that changed to colour of the program completion bad to green to be more in keeping with the course completion bar. Also I'd like to just reiterate that the program bar does incrementally increase with set completion, it is a percentage not a boolean value.
