Hi Fred,

If we could have sight of your CSV layout that would be great.

There are some tips here:

Im a bit confused as to how there can be two accounts with the same username - are you certain this is what is happening?

regards,

George.

Hi Fred,

The problem here is definetly related to the creation of the username by the LDAP.

regards,

George.

Hi Fred,

There's a setting under Plugins > Manage authentication called 'Prevent account creation when authenticating' (default: No)

The help text states:

When a user authenticates, an account on the site is automatically created if it doesn't yet exist. If an external database, such as LDAP, is used for authentication, but you wish to restrict access to the site to users with an existing account only, then this option should be enabled. New accounts will need to be created manually or via the upload users feature. Note that this setting doesn't apply to MNet authentication.

Could that be related to your problem?

Regards,

Ryan
