bulk enrolment

Hi,

In Moodle 1.9, if you want to do a bulk enrolment of existing users onto a course you would use Flat File. However I cannot see this option available in totara version 1.1.6 -

Can you provide details of where I can find this information?

Thanks

Hi Vijay,

You could use a Cohort, there is some documentation available here: http://help.totaralms.com under 1.1  "cohort".

Its possible then to assign a cohort to a program containing course/s. A cohort is a grouping of users based on selected criteria.

regards,

George.

cohort is only available in 2.2 as it is based on the moodle 2.2 model as opposed to totara 1.1 which is based on moodle 1.9 model.

Hi Vijay,

Have you checked under site admin > users > accounts? Also if you go to admin > courses > enrolments and see if the plugin called "flat file" is turned on.

Of course you could always upgrade to 2.2/4 and use rule-based dynamic Audiences, or indeed direct imports from a database!

George.
