Hi Guys,

Im pretty convinced this is an issue to do with Windows and PP - as Ive been unable to open a PP file as a slide show outside of Totara in Windows 7. If you can do it let me know!

regards,

George.

Hello!

I am on a Mac with OS X 10.8.3 and I can't get a PP slideshow to do anything other than download in either Chrome or Firefox.  Can others get this to work on a Mac?

Not tried Windows 7 yet....

Thanks

Kathie

Hi folks,

First off the PP needs to be saved as a "PowerPoint show", also in the "Slide Show " tab of the PP set the show type to "Browsed at kiosk", and you set "Always open files of this type" when initially downloading the file. That should do it!

regards,

George.

 Hi Melissa,

After a brief internet search it appears this is a common problem with PP/Windows/IE9 - Im afraid theres not much more I know about this isuue than you.

George.
