Hi Murali,

1073741824 bytes is a Gigabyte of RAM, it seems strange that even a large Totara site would be consuming so much memory just on the course catalog.

Could you turn on debugging on the development server (Site Administration->Development->Debugging, change the "Debug messages" dropdown to DEVELOPER and then try to access the course list as a Manager.

You should get a more detailed error display with a stack trace, post it here and it should help us find out what is consuming so much memory on your site.
