Hi!

Yes I am. However, this is not a translation issue that (I think) can be solved in Amos. Instead in this particular screen the Swedish letters å, ä and ö does not display correctly, but are replaced with the symbols visible in attached printscreen. Haven't seen any issues with Swedish letters anywhere else though.

Hi Rickard,

Can you please give me an idea what Totara version it is? I remember fixing this issue for Hebrew language in one of the 2.4 versions.

Thanks!

Yuliya

Hi Rickard,

This appeared to be an encoding bug. Our previous fix was in a different part of facetoface. I already added a fix for this one and it should be available in the next 2.4 release.

Hi Yuliya - thanks!

Found the same issue on one more place - under My Learning / Learning plans / My Learning Plan / Objectives - and then tab "Objectives".

In the text under the button "Add new objectives" the swedish letter "å" is replaced with two squares in the wording "No objectives" (should be "Inget mål" in Swedish), see printscreen:

Hey Rickard,

A patch for this has been merged in and will be included in the next 2.4 release (2.4.9) which should be next tuesday. Let us know if you find this sort of thing happening anywhere else!

Cheers,
David
