SCORM packages not displaying properly for IE7 and IE8

I have encountered a SCORM issue that only seems to occur on IE 7 and 8. The window that the package appears in is not of the correct size and cannot be resized. This windows is of a different size for IE7 and IE8 and consistent for lots of packages on each browser.

Some of the things I’ve tried:

In SCORM settings tried to force the window to be the correct size for the package

Tried to force 100%

Tried pop up and same windows

Run the package through SCORM could, everything is OK

Contacted my “hoster” who seems to think it is the package.

I’ve googled Moodle and Totara about the issue and it seems to imply it is JSON related for IE7 and IE8.

Any ideas??

Yes, I have about 20 ranging from abouit 4 years ago to now, they are all done in Lectora. I've been testing one of the oldest but the same happens with later ones too. How best toi forward you one? Thanks Rob

Hey Rob,

I tried out the package you uploaded on IE7 a bit today. popup 100% resizable, and everything worked as expected. What version of Totara are you using? I'm trying on the latest (2.4.9) and it is always possible we have fixed this already, which would be great.

Hey Oscar,

I'm not sure that is related, looks like it was closed as "Not a bug" and was caused by local customisations of the code.
