SCORM Learning Objectives

We are currently looking for a solution for getting courses linked to objectives in learning plans to track correctly (i.e. for their progress status to update automatically from ‘Not Started’ to ‘In progress’ to ‘Complete’. We have:

· Set course completion for the SCORM activity in the course
· Set completion for the course
· Included courses as a component in the lesson plan
· Set plan completion in the workflow

...but the course status within a learning plan objective remains at ‘Not started’ even when we launch and work through an entire course.

The second issue is whether the status of an objective in a learning plan can be automatically updated. We would like to be able to set an objective to ‘auto-complete’ when the course linked to that objective have been completed, can this be done?

Hi Peter,

At the moment course completion is triggered by the cron run, so you wouldnt expect to see anything until its been run. Instant completion will be available in v2.5 which is due end of October.

"Auto-complete" cannot be set at present for Objectives, its designed to be set manually by a manager/admin.
