Did Not Attend Letters

Did Not Attend Letters

We need to be able to send out letter for staff who 'No Show' but can't a way of doing this or a template to create one and the cancellation notifications are not suitable.  Can anyone help?

There isn't a way to do this right now, but we do have plans to add more flexible messaging in the next totara release (2.4).

Unfortunately this isn't due out until March 2013 so until then I'm afraid it will be a manual process.

Hi Simon

Is this now possible?  We're on version 2.5 now but I can't seem to find anything regarding DNA letters.

Hi Rita,

You can do this in 2.5 when you add a custom notification to your face to face session.

  1. go to the face to face activity
  2. under Face to face admin > notifications
  3. add a new notification
  4. add a time after the event that you want it to be sent
  5. select 'no show'
  6. write your custom letter
  7. add manager copy if required

This will send a notification to all of your DNAs
