Should RPL unlock activities

Should RPL unlock activities

Hi all, just a query. If we have a learning package which once completed (with conditional completion based on the grade received inside the course) allows access to say a face to face activity, should marking the learning package as completed by RPL show the activity completed tick inside the course and unlock the face to face activity. Logically to me this makes sense however it is not occurring inside our learning environment. We are using version 2.2 of Totara at current. If this is the intended outcome of RPL (that is, it does not unlock the next item), has anyone come up with any good ways around manually marking off activities such as a learning package that has conditional completion put upon it?

Thanks

Hi Matthew,

this sounds like a known bug on 2.2 and 2.4 with RPL - it's been assigned to a developer so hopefully there'll be a fix soon.

Thanks for the reply. In the meantime, are you aware of any workarounds for this?

One of our clients is affected by this issue also. It would be very useful to have an option available for using RPL to unlock activities.

It seems like it would affect multiple clients. Anyone come up with any solutions?

A further improvement in this area was included in today's (8th April 2014) release of Totara 2.4.19
