Hi Chris,
A cancellation email is sent out to the manager instantly when the learner cancels a booking - I think this goes a fair way to clearing up any ambiguity. You are quite right about the task block & we are aware of it, hopefully it shouldnt take too long to fix.

Tasks not automatically being cleared out for managers when an employee cancels out of a session causes lots of confusion for our managers. An email is definitely not enough. The fix to remove tasks when the employee cancels is urgently needed for our user base.

Ill have brought this to the attention of our devs, its an improvement request and we have a fair number of commitments at present so I couldnt give a precise date as to when its likely to be done.
