It appears that when you mark a learner as a no show on a F2F session they can not book on another session. Has anyone found a work around for this? Is there any plans to fix this functionality?

Hi,

If you tick the "Allow multiple sessions signup per user" option in the Face-to-Face activity, they will be able to sign up to more than one session. This can also be set as a default in the settings for the Face-to-Face activity in the "Site Administration" menu.

Regards

Dan

In Totara 1.1 when a user was marked as a no show they were able to re-book - surely this is the ideal functionality?

Hi folks,

The functionality Nikki mentions was a bug in 1.1 which was fixed when multiple signups where added... we will be adding this functionality to the next feature survey.

We regularly have to delete the no-shows so people can sign up again. Just like AJ said we don't want to let people sign up for multiple sessions and take up spots at the same time. So letting someone sign-up again after they're marked a no-show would really help us too! +1

Thanks George - WOW a bug that makes more logically sense than the correct functionality!!!

From an organisation point of view my clients want and need to be able to report on No Shows and they only want to allow staff to do a F2F course once. When you open up to allow multiple signups then anyone can book on a F2F more than once and this can be taking a spot away from a staff member who has not completed the F2F once.

Would be very keen to have this appear as a feature in Totara.
