Evergreen release notes

Hi,

Is it possible to highlight the new additions specific to evergreen in the release notes i.e. those that are not in the latest point release e.g. 9.9?

We would like to keep track of the new functionality that is being added to evergreen but at the moment the evergreen release notes contain all fixes, new features etc and there no easy way to tell which ones are only available in evergreen. For example for the 19th July Release there are 72 items in the release, of which 16 are only in evergreen, but without doing a comparison of the ticket numbers in the evergreen and 9.9 release notes I don't know which are evergreen only.

Hi David,

I think thats a great idea.
I've had a quick chat with Simon Coggins here in the office and the approach we purpose is to include a new column in the Evergreen changelogs that contains an asterisk for all issues fix in Evergreen only.
Its minimal, and should be quick to visually scan for.

The result will look like this:

    TL-14991   *   Fixed compatibility issues with MySQL 8.0 alpha

    TL-14992   *   Extended progress_bar to be usable from other components

    TL-15002       Added navigation links on the Approval plugin edit signup page
