Hello,

Does anyone know if there a way to customise themes at course level? I'd like to change the colours and background image of a course but don't want this change to be site wide.

Hi Bethany

It is possible to Allow course themes and then select the course theme you want using Force theme in the course.

The Totara Academy has a whole course dedicated to using Dashboards and basic theming

Thanks Craig.

I've found this option in the course settings however, there are only a couple of available themes to choose from. Do you know if you can add and customise your own theme and select this from the Force Theme dropdown in the course settings?

Hi Bethany

The following is a link to guidelines for creating themes. Once you have named you theme and created the language , configuration and version files and added these to the theme folders as detailed in the documentation then the theme should be available to select.

Note there are quite a few changes in themes between versions so if possible use a recent Totara so themes don't break when upgrading.
