Hi There,

Is it possible to have a quiz in which a learner is required to get, for example, 8 out of these 12 questions and 40 out these 50 questions correct to pass. So potentially questions would be tagged either A or B then assessed in groups.

Does that make any sense?

James

Hi James

There are quite a few settings that can be changed in the gradebook such as creating categories and using formulas However these are for calculating grades for different activities rather than the one quiz that you are requiring.

Does this need to be one quiz - if this was split into 2 quizzes the grade to pass for each quiz can be set and both activities would need to be passed to be completed to pass the course. Question banks for quiz 1 and quiz 2 could be created and random questions from the relevant question bank selected.

Thanks Craig,

The two quiz option sounds the simplest way to go. I'll see if that works.
