I am working on a project to procure a LMS (preferably Totara) for online and face to face learning. We currently have a lot of people who attend conferences and external courses. I appreciate that these can be logged in other evidence records, however has anyone come across a way that users can select external events and then add a date that the event is happening for submission to their line manager. 

I have used Seminar via a learning Pool system but from my memory it only allowed defined event for a topic to be entered.

Any thoughts??
