How can we disable the email notification being sent to a temporary manager, when he/she is assigned to a staff? Is there a site-wide setting in Totara where we can control this?Totara Learn Open Discussions

Its no possible to suppress just these emails via the UI. Can I ask why you want to do it?

We also have the need for this.
At times multiple employees can be assigned the one temporary manager, and the assignment email sent to the temporary manager will happen multiple times, and in effect we are spamming the same person with multiple notifications, one for each temporary employee
We also require this function. it causes necessary confusion for staff thinking their manager is leaving and with the teams being so big the temporary manager can received multiple of these at a time which are not required.
We would love to be able to turn of this notification.
