Re: Help needed with activity completion report

Hi Andrea,

Managers don't typically have access to see activity-level work, the assumption was that they would want to see course-level and higher, while a trainer would see the activity-level completion status. One area you could see more is with SCORM activities. You can create a site-wide report using Report Builder and the SCORM source to allow Managers to see their users' progress on SCORMs.

For a Manager to see the activity-level would require giving them Trainer access to the course, which gets complicated because then they can also see other users in the course that they don't manage.

If there are additional activities you would want to see a progress status on, a custom report source would need to be created.

Thanks!

Wes

Hi Wes,

We need to show progress on ALL activities: File, SCORM, Events, was the URL clicked, etc that are in the courses. This report is also used by the business to identify which content is being used most/least.

Thanks,

Lyn

Thanks Lyn and Andrea for the feedback! There is a request in the Suggest Features forum to add a report source that would allow for activity completion visibility for managers, I'd recommend commenting on the thread to bring attention to it.

Cheers!

Wes

Andrea,

We have been wanting this ability, too. Right now, I have to generate a report from the log to identify completed activities in a course and then combine it with the Course Completion report. Not at all ideal.

Thanks for asking, too!

Lyn
