TL-21211 Show the days of the week in the date of Seminar activities
by Matthew Carson - Monday, 3 June 2019, 5:23 PM

Hi team!

Problem:

At the moment, inside a seminar activity the date format is for example 4 June 2019.  This can make it challenging for users to work out what day of the week training is on, especially if the event is far in the future.

Request:

Is it possible to be able to modify the date format for seminar activities to include the day of the week (e.g. Tuesday, 4th June, 2019).

My understanding is that it is possible to change the date format at a global level across the site, but this would impact reports which we'd like to keep in the shorter date format, so granular control of date format for seminar activities would be great.

Thanks

- Matt

Hi Matt,

We are already working on refactoring the Seminar Session start/finish date/time report builder display & Ive linked this ticket to our internal one.

regards,

George.

With the Seminar functionality having been refactored for v16, this feature doesn't appear to have been included. Is there any progress on the request (or am I simply missing where the setting is)?

Hi Dan,

This hasn't been progressed, we're still sticking with dates.

regards,

George.
