I would like to know what do you do with past events in certifications. We do track the completion of the specific certifications with the completion of the quizzes itself and not with the events. The events are in this case only for handling upcoming events and getting an overview of upcoming certifications. Do you delete these past events?

Hi Alexander,
Just keeping an eye out for practices in the field from other subscribers. Aside from losing the attendance tracking, completion status (if it were being used) and history of previous events, I can't think of any other reasons that deleting the old events would cause an issue. The sites that I've seen don't remove old events because they are tracking attendance and completion with it.
