Hi

We are finding the alerts and notifications for Learning Plans a bit too much(15+ in the space of 10 minutes whilst creating a learning plan), as so many seem to go out to the learner and the manager.

Is it possible to edit these or change them to a daily or weekly message rather than an instant message?

Thanks

Lynsey

Thanks Jonathan

I will ask some questions of our trial groups and let you know our feedback.

Kind regards

Lynsey

Aggregation of changes would be preferable if it was unavoidable to remove the emails being sent - otherwise no, I don't think appraisers need to know every time a plan is changed i.e. if a full stop is inputted... in an ideal world, once the plan is agreed, the form / plan wouldn't change and users would be free / available to amend their library as necessary

Hi Jonathan,

I've had request to be able to control LP notifications. Have there been any updates since this post.

In answer to your questions though:

  1. do individual users want to be able to decide if all learning plan notifications they receive get combined into a single notification or not, and do they want to be able to decide the frequency?
Yes

  1. do admin users want to be able to set the default preferences for users and/or be able to force update these preferences for all users or for types of users (e.g. managers)?
Yes

  1. do managers want to receive a single notification for all learning plan updates for a single team member, or for all team members?
Not sure on this one

  1. do individual users want to be able to receive not just learning plan notifications in a daily or weekly message, but all notifications from the system?
Yes

  1. do admin users want/need to be able to determine which types of learning plan updates are high priority, and that should always bypass the combined/delayed notification and be sent immediately?
Yes

Thanks,
Larry
