I am trying to get some calculations on competency ratings. There is a field "Scale value numerical value" which seems like it should give me an option to turn text values into numeric values Totara can show in a report, count average, etc. However I cannot find any use for this in the system. Can you help me out? This value is under Competencies > Manage competencies > Competency frameworks >Competency scale



Where can I use this? And can I make numerical reports somehow with this?

Hi Tomas

This has been asked before on a ticket and the code was searched  for the numeric scale values even in reports - it seems that this has no current use . 

The whole competency area is being majorly changed in Totara Perform and I can see a variable  totara_competency_achievement.scale_value_id has been introduced into the report
