Deleting "In progress" status for users

Hi,

I have a problem which I can't find a solution for.

We are tracking enrollments in our LMS and unfortunately we have courses which should have been closed for enrollment, but were not. This means some participants enrolled after the course was over. I tried unenrolling participants, but their progress on such courses remain. I can filter out these rows later in Excel, but would like to know is there any way to delete those enrollments altogether in LMS?

We have Totara 2.9

Best regards,

Vladimir

Hi Vladimr,

This isnt possible in 2.9, the Course completion records were designed to be bullet proof. How many records are affected, and do you need to stay on 2.9? Its possible to edit the records in 9.11

TL-4156 Added the course completion editor.

Regards,

George.

Hi George,

thank you for replying.

From what I know, we will be moving to Totara 13, but as you know it won't happen for some time. I was looking for a solution in the meantime. I saw that there is a Course completion editor in Totara 12, but was not sure if that option can be added to the version we have. Somehow I can amend status for a learner from Complete to In progress, but not to a degree that as if the learner never enrolled to the course, which is what I would need at the moment.

Going forward, if we kind of mark all the false enrollments in CSV file for example, is it possible to delete them later after upgrade via bulk?

Best,

Vladimir
