More calendars & visibility based on audience

Hi,

I was wondering if it was possible to set up multiple calendars in Totara, selectively add events/sessions to them & make certain calendars visible to only members of an audience.

Some context: We use Totara to inform our employees of the learning opportunities in their local offices. Opportunities in one office are not available in the other and would just clutter the calendar for the other office.

We have dynamic audiences for every office and would like to enable each to see only their own calendar.

Having the possibility in some cases to mark one session/event as visible for multiple calendars would be maybe something for the future.

Best regards,

Vladimir

Group Totara

Hi Vladimir

The workaround below may be suitable.

Calendars have group events that can be created that only members of the group can see. Audience members can be automatically assigned to groups and roles using Audience sync.

The role assigned through the audience can have the permission
Manage any calendar entry and manage group calendar entries allowed.

This will allow the member of the group with this permission to add group events only to their group
