We would like to include a default header image to all emails that originate from Totara. This will help prevent new and existing users from deleting program messages (since they think it is spam).
The message editor for programs is plain text (as illustrated below) and it does not allow HTML code to be added.
How we can include a custom header for our program/certification messages?
If this can't be done at program level; I am happy for a standard image to display for all emails originating from the LMS.
I did some testing
- Any HTML code (IMG, A tags) is removed as soon as I save the program message.
- However, I noticed that when I pasted the full path to a page or resource (e.g. https://help.totaralearning.com/display/TL12/) into a program message, it gets converted into a link when message gets delivered (MS Outlook).
- I also noticed that when I pasted the full path to an image (e.g. https://help.totaralearning.com/plugins/servlet/rw-resources/sites/4/images/4.png), it shows up as an image when we look at the messages report. However, it gets converted into a link when message gets delivered (MS Outlook).
