Does anyone have experience of delivering content using different languages?

My understanding is that the language packs in Totara only cover navigation and core functionality for the site. It does not cover the content within the course page. So if we wanted to deploy courses in different languages we would have to manually enter multiple translations using HTML within the course summary so they displayed the correct language to the learner.

This would be an onerous admin task.

Have I got this right or does someone have a suggestion on how we could display course content in the right language more easily?

Hi Paul

Yes that is right the content of the courses will need multiple translations using the multilang content filter 

An alternative that may be less onerous is is to create separate activities for each language and use Access restrictions to the activity based on a users language.

Course completion would be based on a course grade or completing any of the multiple activities.
