Hi,
we are looking at options to shorten the process & number of clicks a user has to make to get from wanting to attend a certain session to really getting that into their Outlook calendar.
The way things are at the moment - they have to click on the link for the course, sign in to LMS (via Single Sign-on), getting them to the enrolment page, then picking the session, opening Outlook, opening the email & CSV attachment & then accepting the invitation. Of course, some steps may be skipped in some cases (sign in & opening Outlook), but overall it's not a short process for a participant who is dwelling whether she/he wants to attend the session.
What I would like to aim at is to shorten this process, enable them to get the slot booked in their calendar fairly easy & give them to chance to decide whether they want to attend the session or not on the day of the training. At the moment, people need to be really motivated to attend the session to be willing to go through the process of sign up & booking their time in their Outlook calendar (primary tool in planning their workday).
Is anybody facing similar issues? Or is it just that we made the process so complicated? :D
We are using Totara 2.9
Thankful for any ideas!
Best regards,
Vlad
