Kia ora Koutou,
I am a System Administrator in our companies LMS. We use Totara 12.
We have a number of people who have changed position and are no longer in management positions however they are still in the staff manger system role.
I have tried to remove them but the remove function is not available.
Any suggestions? As we use this as an audience also for rolling out specific training.
Any hints or tips appreciated

Can you check if the staff manager role is being assigned by an audience in the Assign roles tab. If they are being assigned by an audience then they won't be able to be manually unassigned so will have to do this through deleting in the audience
If this looks alright then check that the user has the Manager jobs permission allowed.

Hey Craig,
Its looks like it is being set from an Audience - the assign role has been selected in the audience.
The audience is dynamic and set on has direct reports - I have looked at the relevant profiles and don't have direct reports.
So a little confused as to why they are still in the audience.
