We love totara for its flexibility and are currently struggling with a HR-specific and typically French workflow.
Here is the case:
A new employee has to pass a course containing a quiz.
As soon as this employee changes position or contract type, he must validate this course again and take the same quiz.
An employee may change positions or contracts several times a year and must therefore validate this course and quiz each time this change occurs.
We are sure this case can be modeled in Totara, we have ideas using custom fields in conjunction with sirh (HRimport), audiences and groups within the course (duplicate quiz) but we are not sure of the approach.
How would you approach the problem knowing that the history of each quiz attempt must be kept?

Group Totara

Hi Laurent

I think using an dynamic audiences for each position and creating a copy of the quiz for each audience and then restricting access for the quiz activity to the audience would work.

This would keep the quiz history and visibility for each user in their audiences. Using certifications and archiving the course would delete the existing quiz attempts so not suitable.

HR import would not be required as the audience rules would add the users based on their profile field. Groups would not be required as quiz visibility is controlled by the user's current access restrict.

Hopefully your translator is able to understand this OK
