I have a Totara environment in which most courses are open for all users: they can view them and access them via self-enrolment.

Now an extra audience is added to the platform who should only have access to a very limited number of courses. It would be great if they wouldn't see the other courses at all, but it's no problem if they do. However, they certainly shouldn't be able to self-enrol in any other course.

One solution would be to change course visibility of all courses to hide them for this new audience, but this would be an awfull lot of work to do for 200+ courses. Could you please help me with a more elegant solution? Thanks a lot in advance!!!

Hi Jesse

The audience based visibility is an elegant solution once this has been setup.- but not elegant to set up.

Possibly using Multitenancy and adding the users from the extra audience to the tenant and all the other users to another tenant.

Users are only able to see courses in the tenant category that they are a member or participant of.
