Changing the "From" Section of Email for Seminar Booking Confirmation
by kanaat bektas - Monday, 13 September 2021, 11:36 PM

Hi,

We are using seminar activity in our courses.

So learner signs-up
receives a confirmation email with a calender blocker/info from noreply email.
But, once the learner selects Yes, Maybe or No to add it into their calendar as a blocker, they receive an email like 550 5.1.0 Recipient rejected: <noreply@mail.domain.com>

So, I guess it is because seminar confirmation uses noreply for those emails.

Is there any way to solve this issue or update the sender info for Seminar emails?

Thank you

Hi Kanaat

It is possible to set the no-reply address this should usually match the user account for SMTP authentication. If this setting is empty or incorrect then outgoing emails are likely to get marked as spam or are not delivered at all.

Another possible cause of this is the email server is blocking the noreply address - solving this depends on the email server you are using. This will require the email server admin to resolve  for example if you are using Microsoft Exchange there are some tips here to fix.
