Zoom integration questions

Zoom integration questions
by Patricia Maher - Monday, 28 February 2022, 2:21 PM

I just got the Zoom integration working. I've been playing with it - testing out creating Zoom sessions in a course. I have a couple questions:

1. Is it possible to use the Zoom plugin to link to an existing meeting? I already set up the meeting and it has a lot of polls in it. Seems like the Zoom plug in can only create a new meeting and I'd have to recreate the poll in it? I can use a custom room, and that seems to work, is that my best option for not retyping poll questions?

2. Can I delete the list of of virtual rooms I created inadvertently while testing? See below --  these are all fake sessions and I'd like to remove them:

Thanks!

Hi Patricia,

If you have a pre-existing meeting, you can simply use a 'Custom virtual meeting link', rather than the Zoom integration. Just paste in the Zoom meeting URL and you're all set.

As to the meetings created by the Zoom virtualmeeting plugin, those are all created with your Zoom account, so you'll need to log into Zoom and delete them from there.

The plugin never deletes any meetings, because it has no idea what else you might have done with them after they were created. The meetings don't "belong" to Totara.

Hope that helps!
