Hello,

We have a certification that contains one course. When I run a report for this certification I see 703 (active) users have been assigned the certification and are enrolled on the course.

When I run a course report I see  only 567 (active) users are enrolled on the course.

I've done some spot checks on the users who are missing but cant see any common pattern as to why some users appear in the courses reports and others not.

Can anyone explain why this might be?

Hi Paul

It is possible that the user has been assigned to the certification but the user has not enrolled on the course by launching the course through through the Certification.interface.

Enrolment in a course from a certification is not automatic as there may be some prereq courses or the course may be optional.  This requires the user to launch the course from the Certification interface to enrol them.
