Hi
Is there a way to award a badge for completion of a certification, that drops automatically if the individual becomes un-certified for whatever reason?
Thanks, best regards

Hi Paul,
This isn't possible at present, but we do have an existing Feature request for the functionality:
It's not been earmarked for development as yet but please feel free to add a comment in support.
regards,
George.
Great that there's a Feature Request - however I can't view that link to add my support!
Is there a way to get access to that tracker?
Hi George
Thanks for the update. I would fully support this development because badges give our users an instant view of their certified training on their dashboard. Badges also give our managers and other interested parties that instant view of their team's capabilities. Unfortunately, as yet I can't implement the use of badges because the admin interaction is too great.
Thanks, best regards
Hi George and Paul
I wonder if the following would work?
Idea is that the badge would get issued when the user becomes a member of the X1 audience (i.e., when the certification program X1 is completed). Would allow for aligning the badge expiry date with the certification expiry date (when used fixed period).
When the certification expires, the user should get removed from the X1 audience. The assumption is that the badge expires then as well as the badge criteria are no longer fulfilled.
Didn't test it myself but will most likely try this out within a couple of weeks as I have the same requirement for my organization.
OK, forget about it.
The badge criteria are solely used to issue/award the badge and are not re-evaluated at a later moment.
In other words, and in my example: if a user doesn't belong to the audience anymore, the badge is not automatically revoked.
I follow Paul's remarks: this makes it impossible for us to continue with badges (and in our case certifications). Our certified partners really want to show their badges on social media and we have to make sure the badge expires when the related certification expires.
