Hi Gabrielle

Can you include the message that is coming up and the  version of Totara

There was a problem fixed in Totara 10.5 and above

Hi Gabrielle

I can see that an issue reported where the problem is the scanner is attempting to scan files from the /localcache folder for files directly imported from the Internet and is not able to access this file in the folder.

This is probably due to server configuration which would require a ticket to  decsribe how the server is setup and is beyond the normal support covered by Totara

hi Craig,

we were able to get it to work yesterday but the team wants clamAV to block all .exe .ocx .dll .com .msi is there a way we can do this regardless if it's malicious or not?

thanks

Hi Gabrielle

I am not familiar with Clam AV unfortunately - there is some documentation  on setting up Clam Av but couldn't find anything about specifically scanning file types
