Wonder if anyone can help configure the user profile so that some parts only are editable. We don't use a 'signup page' in our login process (SSO).
I would like to add a new category with user profile custom fields to the user profile that users can edit and maintain. The problems I have are:
- giving them permission to edit means they can edit ALL profile fields (e.g. HR sync fields) which we don't want
- I can't see any way to lock down categories
- Setting fields to 'not visible' doesn't seem to hide them
Has anyone used profiles in this way? Appreciate any ideas.
