I intended to use html bookmarks in a Html block, using the id attribute and href linking to it. However Totara seems to strip out the id tag.
Does anyone have a solution for anything similar?
There is a site-wise setting for content filtering (or not). In my opinion it's overly aggressive in filtering simple, useful html content.

Totara uses the default settings HTML Purifier library to allow HTML that it regarded as safe plus a few additions as described here . It is possible to customise the whitelist if you accept the risks
