In the User profile fields > other fields. We have a custom column called Workforce categories, that records data of a user. Please see the ref snip attached
Question: How do we remove the data/ value that are populated in the Workforce categories column from suspended users.

It is possible to create a suspended user purge type that will automatically delete the selected data including data in custom user fields.

thank you Craig. It makes sense. Is there an option to do this for thousands of users all at once. I can see when creating a purge type - you can do one at a time. is that correct? how can we do for all suspended users?

If you select under Available use Automatic purging once a user is suspended then this will delete the data of newly suspended users. You can add existing suspended users in bulk to a purge type with bulk user actions
