Hi together,
I wonder where I can edit the template for the e-mail sent to a created user with a generated password. I can't find that one in the notification settings where all other mail templates are.

I believe these are defined in the language pack.
Language strings can be updated in site admin - general - language customisation. Are you creating manual accounts? It's likely core/newusernewpasswordsubj and core/newusernewpasswordtext, but might be other language strings depending on what your account creation workflow is.

Hi Natlia, thanks very much for your answer. Unfortunately I can't find such a component in the language customization or anything else that contains “notification”, “mail” or similar.

To help find a string to modify in the language pack you can search for some of the text that is displayed across all component by highlighting all the components
